GPT Image 2 Is Now on AI Edit

**OpenAI's GPT Image 2** is now available on **AI Edit** - and it's a meaningful step up from what came before.

The most obvious improvement is realism. Earlier image models had a recognizable "AI look" - overly smooth skin, unnaturally perfect lighting. **GPT Image 2** addresses that directly. The results are closer to real photography than anything **OpenAI** has shipped before, to the point where some generated images are genuinely hard to distinguish from actual photos.

The other big improvement is text. Rendering readable, accurate text inside images has been a weak spot for image models for a long time. **GPT Image 2** is reportedly much stronger at this - detailed screenshots, diagrams, infographics - which makes it a lot more useful for advertising, educational content, and anything where what's written in the image actually matters.

If you've been using **GPT Image 1.5** on **AI Edit** and occasionally frustrated by how artificial the results looked, this is worth trying again.
