New Image Models on AI Edit: Grok Imagine Image Quality and Recraft V4.1

Two new image models are now available on **AI Edit** - one from **xAI**, one from **Recraft** - and they cover very different ground.

**Grok Imagine Image Quality** is xAI's quality-focused image model. The focus here is realism, text rendering inside images, and tight prompt following. It works across both text-to-image and image editing workflows, supports up to 3 source images for editing, and handles multilingual text well - useful when you need branded assets, layouts, or anything where the text in the image actually needs to be readable.

**Recraft V4.1** is a different beast. It comes in three variants - V4.1, V4.1 Vector, and V4.1 Utility - each built for a different type of work.

The main V4.1 model is the expressive one. Give it a short prompt and it fills the gaps with taste rather than noise. Photorealism feels quieter and more natural - less stock photo, more real life. The 3D and gradient work is genuinely impressive, and illustration styles are now possible that simply weren't before.

V4.1 Vector is built for logos, typography, and illustrations where precision matters. V4.1 Utility is the opposite of expressive - flat lighting, front-facing composition, clean and predictable output. The right tool for mockups and product shots where you don't want the model making creative decisions.
